I just want to say that Starbucks’ new Willow Blend is damn good. I was lucky to get a small bag to sample before it was available and I was so excited to buy a full bag once I had depleted my sample in only a few days. It has become my favorite roast. I now have more than one cup of coffee a day. Which I guess that could be good, or bad, depending on your own thoughts of drinking coffee. I still prefer to brew Starbucks coffee at home since they seem to brew it too strong at the store.

I hope to see Starbucks expand their Blonde roast. The Veranda is decent, but can’t compete against the Willow, in my opinion. Starbucks describes the Willow Blend as a blend of Latin American and East African beans, [link]. The Veranda is pure Latin. If you haven’t tried it yet, go buy a bag. Local stores will not be brewing the Willow Blend because it cost more than the Veranda. But it is worth purchasing. Enjoy!
